The esoteric origin of songs is  multimedia and live music show about the origin of music, according to oral traditions from Latin America and the Caribbean.


The show tells the story of music's mythical origin and spiritual significance through short films and video art that accompany Nolimetangere's live performance.

Grupo Folklórico Nolimetangere


Grupo Folklórico Nolimetangere is an esoteric musical ensemble composed of 6 instrumentalists and 4 singers, all of whom represent a symbol or deity. Nolimetangere music mixes traditional trance rhythms with the instrumentation and style of Latin American popular music and psychedelic rock.

The musical pieces evoke themes and myths from esoteric traditions of the world and are interpreted through a game of improvisation.
